Young bakers gathered virtually in Alex’s Clubhouse on Tuesday, May 3 at 3 pm EST with homeschool speaker and author Katie J. Trent.
Using a recipe from her book Dishing Up Devotions, Katie guided the kids through an easy blondie recipe while discussing “just rewards” vs “just desserts.” As sinners, our just reward from God should be punishment. But in His love, He showed us love and forgiveness instead. We can imitate this with those around us…perhaps just by sharing dessert with our enemies!
