This will be quick. I have a lot to do…

When I started drafting this update several days ago, the big news was that Justine graduated out of her isolette box! She can regulate her own body temperature, so the nurses put her in a normal crib. Like, a totally normal “would expect to find this at home” crib.

But there’s more news and it is FANTASTIC. We have a tentative homecoming date! AND IT’S THIS WEEK.

Justine finished all her bottles yesterday. The nurses removed her nose feeding tube at noon (tube free, baby!!). She needs to eat all of her food by mouth for a day or two. If she does, she could come home as early as Friday or Saturday.

Cue excitement and sheer total terror. What have we done?? We are about to be REAL parents.
