Salutations and well wishes, my fellow academic investigators. My name is Abby Kastle, the only niece of Mittens Meow who asked for an encyclopedia set as a Christmas present.
I invite you to join me on a thrilling exploration of the geography and culture of our great northern ally, Canada.
Warm Up Your Quizzing Cap
On Thursday, May 19th @ 3:30 pm EST, Canadian homeschool mom and author Christie Thomas will host an interactive quiz competition, sharing with us basic facts, personal insights, and other fun trivia about her home country.
After the quiz show, there will be a Q&A time where you can pose your own questions to Miss Thomas.
We’ll conclude with a brief Bible devotion about taking care of the place we call home…a lesson my younger sister and I learned during our adventures in Collar Cases #3: Case of the Angry Avians.

About Gather.Town: This is a virtual meeting space that combines traditional video calls with a fun, video-game style environment where kids can interact with each other and play games. It’s free to participate, you just need an account.
Equipment: Web cameras are recommended so your child can participate in the group games/activities and engage with the guests. You will need a desktop or laptop computer with an internet connection; tablets will not work.
Privacy: Your child’s privacy is critical. These events are not recorded. The only people in attendance are other child guests & their parents, the host, and the guest speakers. You are welcome and encouraged to participate in the event with your child.
