Welcome back for another book club in my virtual clubhouse. Grab your favorite reading blanket and get a yummy snack. We’re traveling to the exciting prairies of the American west.
Guest Author: Wendy Ann Mattox
Our guest author is Wendy Ann Mattox. She’s a Christian children’s author who loves fun, the beautiful Idaho mountains, and finding God in small moments every day.
She’s the author of the Magic Magnifying Glass series.
She’s also starting a brand new series about time-traveling siblings Max & Maddie. The first book is called Wild Wild Zest.
Fun & Games
During our program on Saturday, Wendy will read a short portion of Wild Wild Zest. She’ll share some stories about life in the beautiful Idaho mountains, and she’ll answer your questions…about anything!
But before we even start the book club fun, Wendy has organized an outdoor scavenger hunt to get us in the outdoor adventure mood.

As always, we’ll end our session with an awesome book giveaway. Author Lady will pick a kid at random from our live book club guests to win a free copy of Wild Wild Zest–plus a copy of my first book, Case of the Robbed Recipe.

About Gather.Town: This is a virtual meeting space that combines traditional video calls with a fun, video-game style environment where kids can interact with each other and play games. It’s free to participate, you just need an account.
Equipment: Web cameras are recommended so your child can participate in the group games/activities and engage with the guest author. You will need a desktop or laptop computer with an intenet connection; tablets will not work.
Privacy: Your child’s privacy is critical. These events are not recorded. The only people in attendance are other child guests & their parents, the host, and the guest speakers. You are welcome and encouraged to participate in the story time with your child.
