Hi friends!

Alex Digger here. Mittens and I are so excited to share our adventures with you!

You could make the case we do all the dangerous work around here. But even so, we couldn’t solve crimes without our awesome office staff. Be it editing, illustration, narration, or devotional writing, every adventure is a team effort.

Take a look below and learn more about the creative minds that make Collar Cases possible.

See you in the next mystery!

Core Team

Author Lady

Amanda Trumpower

Amanda Trumpower writes for Jesus lovers who dig dragons, detectives, and droids. Although she’s been writing ever since she could hold a crayon, she really cranked up the words per minute after upgrading to a keyboard.

She’s a twin mom (find pics on Instagram!), second-generation homeschooler, D&D enthusiast, and board game fanatic.

Some of her personal heroes include Agatha Christie and Nancy Drew.

She used to be a cat person before she had twins. Now, she’s just glad she doesn’t have to clean up poo from yet another body.

Illustrator Lady

Sarah Johnson

Sarah Johnson’s story-based illustrations compose playful worlds for the young at heart. When she’s not scurtinizing colors, Sarah enjoys learning new board games, crocheting, and spoiling her cats, Wanda & Pietro.

Narrator Lady

Trista Shaye

Trista Shaye is a lively, vivid narrator who specializes in fully-voice recordings…meaning she brings each character to life with unique voices! The award-winning narrator has voiced over 100 audiobooks of various genres. She’s the voice of several characters in audio-drama podcasts, and has even recorded an advertisement for LEGO.

Along with being a voice actress, Trista is also an author who writes for middle grade and YA audiences. All of her books are clean and enjoyable for the entire family. She has her own animal chapter book series (Big the Barn Cat) and directs her own epic fantasy podcast.

You can find her on Facebook, Instagram, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Audible.

Editor Lady

Alex Mellen

Alex Mellen is a copy editor for Christianity Today magazine in Illinois. She studied professional writing at Taylor University and previously worked the night shift at a small-town newspaper. (She did not have any cat or dog coworkers). Star Wars is her favorite fandom.

Chief Sanity Saver

Becca Wierwille

Becca Wierwille helps Author Lady maintain whatever shreds of sanity she has left by assisting with website maintenace, manuscript proof reading, event planning, blog processing, and many other random duties.

She’s also a talented children’s author in her own right!

Becca writes stories to show kids they are wonderfully created for the unique adventures in their lives.

Her short stories for children and devotions have been featured in numerous magazines and other publications, and she is a member of SCBWI, ACFW, and Word Weavers International.Editor by day and novelist by not-too-late-at-night, she wishes she could eat peach pie as often as most writers drink coffee. Despite her dreams of sandy beaches and mountain peaks, she loves living in Pennsylvania with her husband and their dog.
